Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete refund minus administrative charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for payments made by credit card

Requirements: Must request in a written format via email or telephone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Qualifies for: Half the total cost of the charter service

Processing Period: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the reimbursement amount

Stipulations: Valid justification needed; administrative expenditures considered

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Qualifies for: Refund is not offered

Exception: Situations of emergency might be evaluated

Alternative: Credit for future charter may be granted depending on managerial discretion

Prerequisites: Emergency cases require documentary proof

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Our number one concern is safety. Should our certified captain determine that weather conditions are too hazardous for sailing, we will provide flexible alternatives:

  • Full Refund: Issued if rescheduling is impractical
  • Reschedule: Move your booking to an upcoming available date at no extra expense
  • Charter Credit: Issued with a 12-month validity from the initial date of the charter

Weather Assessment Procedure

Our weather analysis entails:

  • Reviewing wind speeds and directions
  • Assessing wave heights and marine conditions
  • Predicting visibility and rainfall
  • Considering Coast Guard bulletins and warnings
  • Evaluating safety through the professional judgement of our captain

Timing for Decisions: We make calls on weather cancellations not later than 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Circumstances of Emergency

Medical crises are unforeseen, and we take them seriously. Special consideration may be given for:

  • Unexpected sickness or injury leading to hospital stay
  • Passing of a family member
  • Military deployment or urgent recall
  • Compulsory jury service or legal summons
  • Natural events disrupting travel

Required Evidence

When asking for a refund based on emergency situations, please supply:

  • A medical statement or hospital records
  • Death certificate, if pertinent
  • Verified military orders
  • Legal notice for court or jury duty
  • Alerts or declarations of emergency concerning travel

Refund Operations: We process emergency-related refunds in 3-5 business days following receipt of all necessary evidence.

Operational Cancellations

Vessel Maintenance Issues

If the yacht readied for your charter meets with unresolvable technical faults:

  • Vessel Substitute: We'll endeavor to arrange an equivalent replacement
  • Complete Refund: Granted if no suitable substitution is found
  • Partial Reimbursement: Issued if the alternate vessel comes at a distinct tariff
  • Recompense: Further compensation might be considered for the inconvenience faced

Crew Availability Issues

In the unusual event that a certified crew is unobtainable:

  • A substitute crew will be arranged if feasible
  • Full repayment if the charter is unable to go ahead
  • Booking rescheduling without any additional fees

Refund Processing

Original Payment Return

Reimbursements will be executed using the original form of payment:

  • Credit Card Refunds: Finalized within 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfer Refunds: Concluded within 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque Refunds: Executed within 3-5 business days

Administrative Charges

Credit Card Fee

€50 charge for cancellations processed more than 72 hours before the event

Bank Transfer Fee

€25 imposed on all bank transfer refunds

International Transactions

Surcharge may apply for international payments

Charter Credit Option

Conditions for Credit Issuance

Charter credits can be an alternative to direct refunds and may be provided under these circumstances:

  • Last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours of charter)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Customer-initiated changes in schedule
  • Service disruptions

Credit Conditions

  • Effective Period: Valid for one year from the date of issue
  • Non-transferable: Credits cannot be switched to other individuals
  • Value: Equals the complete amount paid for the charter without deduction for fees
  • Usage: Applicable to any charter that's available
  • Expiry: No extensions past the 12-month limit

Reimbursements for Partial Services

Service Disruptions

If your yacht rental is curtailed or halted due to our company's operational issues:

  • Refund amount corresponding to the non-used segment
  • Credit equal to the unused service for future charters
  • Complimentary benefits or upgrades

Interruptions Caused by Guests

In instances where the charter ends sooner because of actions by the guests or breach of safety rules:

  • No repayment for the remaining time
  • Full charge is still applicable
  • Potential additional costs

Resolving Disagreements

Should you contest a decision regarding your refund, you have the option to:

  • Appeal for an evaluation by our management
  • Submit additional data or proofs
  • Seek a settlement via consumer rights organizations
  • Pursue legal options as per the law

Our team will respond to your application within a day's time, examine it adhering to our policy, reach a verdict within two days, and proceed with approved reimbursements based on the mentioned periods.

Critical Notices

  • All reimbursement applications are to be expressed in writing
  • Refunds are effected in €, regardless of the initial transaction currency
  • We highly suggest acquiring travel insurance
  • Policy modifications take effect after a notice term of 30 days
  • Refund amounts are inclusive of relevant taxes and legislated duties
